Frequently asked questions about day-to-day use of BrizoConsol — reports, dashboards, Pulse, adjustments, eliminations, and Insight Packages.

How do I generate consolidated reports?
Go to Reports from the left navigation and select any report — P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, or any custom report. Make sure your consolidated group is selected in the top-left dropdown. BrizoConsol calculates the consolidation automatically using the latest synced data. Use the Period Selector at the top of the page to change the timeframe. See Viewing Reports and Comparing Periods & Actuals vs Forecast.
How do I customise dashboards?
Go to Dashboard from the left navigation and click Customise (or open an existing dashboard and edit it). You can add, remove, and rearrange charts, KPIs, and tables using the dashboard editor. Save the layout as a custom view for easy access. See Customizing Dashboards.
Can I enter adjustments or corrections in BrizoConsol?
Yes. Go to Adjustment → Journal Entries to post entries such as fair-value adjustments, impairments, reclassifications, or year-end true-ups. These flow into your consolidated reports without altering the data in your accounting system. You can also tag each entry with an accounting standard (Local GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP) so reports can be filtered by standard. See Posting Journal Adjustments (IFRS / GAAP).
How do I manage intercompany eliminations?

BrizoConsol provides two ways to handle eliminations, both under Adjustment in the left navigation:

  • Auto Eliminations — set up rules that automatically apply elimination entries during consolidation based on matching accounts across entities. Best for structured, recurring intercompany transactions. See Auto Eliminations.
  • Manual Eliminations — enter one-off or ad-hoc elimination entries directly, posted at either group or subsidiary level. See Manual Eliminations.
What is Pulse and how do I use it?
Pulse is BrizoConsol's real-time business health monitor. Go to Pulse from the left navigation to view Key Metrics, Cash Flow Analysis, Receivables, and Payables — each with health scores and drill-down into individual transactions. It gives you an instant read on business performance without opening a full report. See Viewing Pulse Metrics.
How do I share reports with people outside BrizoConsol?
You can export any report as a PDF, Excel (.xlsx), or CSV using the Export button at the top of the report. For recurring delivery — for example, sending a monthly board report automatically — use the Schedule feature to deliver reports by email on a set frequency. Recipients do not need a BrizoConsol account. See Scheduling Dashboards, Reports & Insight Packages.
What is an Insight Package?
An Insight Package is a curated bundle of dashboards, reports, and Pulse views compiled into a single PDF and delivered automatically on a schedule. It is ideal for board packs, investor updates, or management reviews — recipients receive a professionally formatted PDF by email without you needing to prepare anything manually. See Viewing Insight Packages and Creating & Configuring an Insight Package.
How do I compare actuals against budget or last year?
Open any report and use the Period Selector at the top to choose a comparison view — Actual vs Last Year, Actual vs Forecast, or Actual vs Budget. BrizoConsol generates variance columns ($ and %) automatically for both the current period and YTD. The built-in P&L Variance and P&L Forecast Variance reports open with these views pre-selected. See Comparing Periods & Actuals vs Forecast.
