What this article covers: How to enter budget and forecast figures in BrizoConsol — opening the Budget and Forecast statements, typing values with Input Mode, importing a movement file from the template, and the organisation settings that control who enters budget data and where budget opening balances come from.
Budget and forecast figures are entered on dedicated Budget and Forecast versions of the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow. The figures you enter feed the Actual vs Budget and Actual vs Forecast comparisons in your reports.
1. Opening the Budget or Forecast Statements
In the left navigation, open Forecast or Budget and choose Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, or Cashflow. These menus are available to users with Administrator or Report Admin access.
2. Typing Values with Input Mode
Switch on the Input Mode toggle above the statement, then type into the budget or forecast cells. Each value you enter is stored as that month’s movement for the account.

The level at which budget and forecast movement can be entered is set on the top organisation under Organisation Settings → Organisation Details, in the Budget & Forecast Input row. Administrators can change it:
When the level you are viewing is not allowed, the Import icon and the Input Mode toggle are disabled, and hovering over them explains where budget and forecast movement is entered for your group.
5. Budget Opening Balances
The Budget Opening Balances row in Organisation Details sets where a budget year’s opening balances are read from, per fiscal year. Click the edit icon, choose the Budget year, and choose Opening balances from:
