The Report Settings panel controls how values are displayed in any open report — decimal places for numbers and percentages, whether account codes are shown, and how negative numbers are formatted. Settings apply immediately and refresh the report view without saving.

Accessing Report Settings

Open any reportReport Settings are available from every report in BrizoConsol — both built-in and custom.

Click the gear iconLocated in the top-right corner of the report. This opens the Report Settings panel.

Adjust settings and click CloseChanges take effect immediately. Click Close to dismiss the panel and return to the report.

Settings Reference

Number of Decimal Places

Controls how many decimal places are shown for general numeric values in the report.

Setting Example output
0 (default) 1,234
2 1,234.56

Use this to align with your organisation's rounding policies.

Percentage Decimal Places

Controls the number of decimal places shown for percentage values — applies to margin percentages, variance percentages, and ratio-based metrics.

Show Account Code

Toggles whether account codes are shown alongside account names in the report.

State How accounts appear

OFF (default) Revenue

Enable this when cross-referencing with your Chart of Accounts or for detailed financial tracing and audit purposes.

Use Brackets When Negative

Controls how negative numbers are displayed throughout the report.

State Example output
ON (1,234)
OFF (default) -1,234

Bracket notation is standard in accounting and financial reporting — enable this for board packs, investor reports, or any output that follows formal financial presentation conventions.

💡 Tip: Report Settings apply to the current report view only — they do not change the underlying data or affect exports from other reports. Adjust them each time you need a different display format, or before exporting a report for a specific audience.
