What this article covers: What the Daily Brief in BrizoConsol shows, when it opens, and how to choose its frequency, categories, and items.

The Daily Brief is a summary of material changes and exceptions in your group’s numbers — performance movements, budget and forecast variances, the entities driving them, intercompany exceptions, consolidation movements, and system warnings — with links to the screens where you can act on them.

1. Who Sees It

The Daily Brief is available to the subscription owner and to users with report access: Administrator, Report Admin, Dashboard Admin, and Report Viewer. Data-entry roles such as Data Loading Admin and Journals & Eliminations Admin do not receive it. A user deployed to a single entity sees a brief for that entity instead of the group.

2. When It Opens

  • Automatically — on your first visit of the day, week (starting Monday), or calendar month, depending on your setting. The default is daily.
  • On demand — from the Daily Brief entry at the top of the notification bell list. This works even if automatic opening is set to Off.

3. Categories

Category What it reports
Material movements in consolidated revenue, gross profit, operating profit, and net profit against the comparable period. On by default.
Material variances between actuals and the budget or forecast data in BrizoConsol, for profit lines and expense lines. On by default.
The entities that materially drive a consolidated movement — not a general entity ranking. On by default.
Intercompany differences, unmatched balances, other exceptions, eliminations posted this month, and unconfirmed elimination reviews. Off by default; Pro edition.
Material movements in cash, trade receivables, inventory, trade payables, borrowings, equity, and retained earnings. Off by default.
CTA / FCTR movement, NCI allocation, ownership changes, and consolidation adjustment journals. Off by default; group brief only.
Connector, sync, mapping, and account-setup warnings from the notification feed. On by default.
BrizoConsol news and release notes from the last 28 days. Use the arrows to page through items. On by default.

Each finding links to the relevant screen — for example Review eliminations, View CTA report, View NCI report, or View journals. If nothing material is found, the brief says so.
