What this article covers: How to connect BrizoConsol to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server, so ChatGPT can read your group’s financial data when you ask it questions.

BrizoConsol exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. In ChatGPT, a custom MCP server is added from the Plugins page and becomes a plugin you can call in a conversation. Once connected, ChatGPT can read live financial data from BrizoConsol — trial balances, statements, transactions, and KPIs.

🛈 Before you start: A BrizoConsol group administrator must first enable AI Access and select which companies and data scopes are permitted. See AI Access. The BrizoConsol MCP server is available on every plan, including the free trial. Custom MCP servers are available on ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, on ChatGPT web only — not in the mobile apps.

1. Get the Endpoint URL

Go to Settings → Global Settings → Integrations → AI Access. Under MCP server, click Copy to copy the endpoint URL.

2. ChatGPT Pro

On a Pro plan you add BrizoConsol yourself.

1
On ChatGPT web, open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins).
2
Select the + button, then Add custom MCP server.
3
Enter a name (e.g. BrizoConsol) and, optionally, a description.
4
Under Connection, paste the MCP endpoint URL from step 1.
5
Set authentication to OAuth, review the risk warning and tick I understand and want to continue.
6
Select Create as a plugin. ChatGPT lists the BrizoConsol tools it found. When prompted, sign in to BrizoConsol and approve the connection.

3. ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu

On workspace plans, a ChatGPT workspace admin or owner creates the plugin and publishes it to the workspace. On Business, only admins and owners can create it. On Enterprise and Edu, admins can also allow selected members to create it.

1
Admin or owner: follow steps 1–6 in section 2 to create the BrizoConsol plugin, then test it in a new conversation.
2
Open the Admin Console (admin.openai.com), select the workspace, then go to Plugins → Manage Legacy Apps → Drafts.
3
Enterprise or Edu only: use Configure Access to choose which groups can use BrizoConsol.
4
Select Publish. BrizoConsol now appears in the workspace’s approved list.
5
Each member: go to Settings → Plugins, find BrizoConsol and connect it, signing in with their own BrizoConsol login.
💡 Tip: ChatGPT keeps a snapshot of BrizoConsol’s tools from when the plugin was created. If BrizoConsol adds new tools, open the connection on the Plugins page and select Refresh; on workspace plans an admin must publish the refreshed version.

4. Using BrizoConsol in a Conversation

Start a new conversation, type @ in the prompt box and select BrizoConsol, then ask your question — for example, “What is the consolidated revenue for September 2026?”. The selection applies to that message only. Follow-up questions about data already in the chat work without it; @-mention BrizoConsol again when ChatGPT needs to fetch new data.

The connection is read-only — ChatGPT cannot create, edit, or delete anything in BrizoConsol.

5. Controlling What ChatGPT Can See

ChatGPT can only read companies and scopes that your group administrator has permitted in the AI Access settings. If ChatGPT cannot reach data you expect, ask your administrator to review the company and scope selections on the AI Access page.

6. Revoking Access

To disconnect ChatGPT from BrizoConsol, go to the AI Access page and click End beside the connection in the Connected clients list. ChatGPT is refused on its next call.
