What this article covers: How to use the controls in the dashboard header — the comparison selector that applies to every card, the display currency selector, and the Dashboard Settings colour palette.
Besides the reporting month, the dashboard header has controls that change every card at once.
1. Comparison
Use the comparison dropdown to set the comparison basis for the whole dashboard:
- Current Month (default)
- vs Last Year
- vs Budget
- vs Forecast vs Budget
Number, table, and chart cards switch to the matching comparison. A card that has no equivalent for the selected comparison keeps its own setting.
2. Display Currency
When your group has exchange rates for currencies other than its presentation currency, a Display currency dropdown appears in the header of dashboards and Pulse. Choose a currency to view the figures in that currency. The dropdown is hidden when only one currency is available. See Exchange Rates.
3. Dashboard Settings — Colour Palette
Click the gear icon (Dashboard Settings) and choose one of the colour palettes for your charts and visualisations. The choice is saved for the organisation. The gear icon is available to users with Administrator or Dashboard Admin access.
