What this article covers: How to use the Consolidation Setup Progress page in BrizoConsol — the step-by-step tracker that shows how far your group is through consolidation setup and takes you to the next step.

The Consolidation Setup Progress page tracks the setup of your consolidated group as a sequence of steps. A progress ring shows the percentage complete, and the page names the step you are on and gives you a button to go and complete it.

1. Accessing the Page

Go to Settings → Global Settings → Setup Progress (under System) from the left navigation. The menu item is available to users with Administrator access.

2. The Setup Steps

Step What to do
Define the account structure shared across all your organisations — the foundation for consolidated reporting. See Common Chart of Accounts.
Confirm parent-subsidiary relationships and ownership percentages so NCI, equity method, and consolidation rules apply correctly. See Organisation Hierarchy.
Link each organisation to Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or Zoho Books to pull trial balances automatically. See Connecting Your Accounting Software.
Confirm every account has synced in from your connected accounting system before you map to the common structure. See Chart of Accounts.
Link each organisation’s chart of accounts to the common structure for accurate roll-ups. See Account Mapping.
Choose the intercompany types for your group, then review and post elimination entries. See Elimination Entries.
KPIs, charts, and consolidated financials populate automatically once mapping is complete.

3. Reading Step Status

  • Steps you have finished show a tick.
  • The current step shows a clock icon and a Required badge. Its action button (for example Map Organisation Accounts) appears below the step list — click it to go straight to the right screen.
  • Later steps show a lock until the earlier steps are done.
  • When every step is done, the page shows a Completed badge and each step is marked Finished.
💡 Tip: The bottom of the page links to this documentation and to the Support Site if you need help with a step.
