What this article covers: How to connect BrizoConsol to Claude as an MCP data source, so Claude can read your group’s financial data when you ask it questions.
BrizoConsol exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that Claude can connect to. Once connected, you can ask Claude questions about your consolidation — trial balances, financial statements, transactions, KPIs — and it reads the live data from BrizoConsol to answer.
1. Get the Endpoint URL
Go to Settings → Global Settings → Integrations → AI Access. Under MCP server, click Copy to copy the endpoint URL. You will need this when configuring Claude.
2. Cowork (Personal Plans)
On a personal plan (Pro or Max), each user adds BrizoConsol themselves as a custom connector. The connector is tied to your Claude account, so once added it is available in Cowork on the desktop app as well as on claude.ai.
3. Claude for Team or Enterprise
On Team and Enterprise plans, members cannot add custom connectors themselves. An Owner of the Claude organisation must add BrizoConsol first; each member then connects with their own BrizoConsol login.
4. What Claude Can Ask For
Once connected, Claude can call any of the tools your BrizoConsol administrator has permitted through scopes — reading trial balances, financial statements, transactions, KPI values, and lists of currencies, periods, and accounts. Claude cannot write to BrizoConsol; the connection is read-only.
5. Revoking Access
To disconnect a user’s Claude session from BrizoConsol, go to the AI Access page in BrizoConsol and click End beside their connection in the Connected clients list. You can also disconnect it from Settings → Connectors in Claude.
