What this article covers: Setting what AI clients may read from your group — and, on Premium, write — with the switch, companies and scopes, and reviewing connected clients.
The AI Access page sets the limit for every AI client connected to your group through the BrizoConsol MCP server. Everyone who connects a client gets exactly this — they do not choose it themselves.
1. Accessing the Page
Go to Settings → Global Settings → Integrations → AI Access from the left navigation.
2. Allow AI Connections
Allow AI connections is the master switch. When it is off, every connected client is refused on every call. The date it was last allowed is shown beneath it. With the switch on, choose at least one company and one scope, otherwise every call is still refused.
The MCP server endpoint URL is shown below the switch. Click Copy to copy it when setting up a client.
3. Companies They May Read
Tick each company AI clients may read. A client cannot read an unticked company. Each connection is further limited to the ticked companies the connecting person may report on.
4. What They May Read
Tick the scopes to allow: Reference data, Accounts, Trial balance, Statements, Journal lines, Exchange rates, KPIs, Invoices, Bills, Operational data, Consolidation and Intercompany transactions. Use Select all to tick every scope. A client is only offered the tools whose scope is ticked — see BrizoConsol MCP Server for which tool needs which scope.
5. What They May Write (Premium)
On the Premium plan, two more settings decide what the write tools may do. Writing is offered only to the Zapier MCP client; Claude, ChatGPT and other clients only read.
On other plans these settings are shown locked, with Writing is available on Premium and an Upgrade to Premium button. See BrizoConsol MCP Server for the write tools.
Click Save to apply changes.
6. Connected Clients
Lists each live connection. Click End to stop it on its next call and revoke its tokens. The person must connect again to use it.
Each call — read, write or refused, with the tool, company and reason — is recorded in the System Audit Trail.
