What this article covers: The section types available in the Insight Package editor — from reports and dashboards to charts, tables, rich text, and imported files — and how print settings control the layout of the generated PDF.
Each section you add to an Insight Package becomes a page or panel in the generated PDF. You can mix section types to build a complete package — financial statements, dashboards, commentary, and custom charts all in one document.

Report
A standard or custom report rendered as a financial table (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, or any custom report)
Dashboard
A built-in or custom dashboard rendered as a visual snapshot
Pulse
A Pulse view: Key Metrics, Cashflow Analysis, Receivables, or Payables
Text
A rich-text section for headings, paragraphs, and formatted commentary — no data source
Chart
A standalone chart sourced from a BrizoConsol data template
Table
A standalone data table sourced from a report or dashboard table
Chart + Table
A chart and a table displayed side by side — choose which appears on the left
Chart + Text
A chart beside a rich-text block — useful for adding commentary next to a visual
Table + Text
A data table beside a rich-text block — useful for adding narrative next to figures
Page Title
A full-page title with no data — used as a section divider or cover-style heading page
Predefined
Pre-built system widgets: Net Profit Waterfall, Current vs Non Current Assets, or Expenses by Entity
Imported Excel
An Excel workbook imported and rendered as a table in the package
Imported Document
A Word or PDF document imported and rendered as formatted content
Cell Report
A Cell Report rendered as a spreadsheet-style layout with live financial, consolidation, or entity data bound to individual cells
Section Options
Each section has common options you can configure in the editor:

Label
The display name shown in the table of contents and as the section heading
Show title
Toggle the section heading on or off in the rendered PDF
Starts new page
Force this section to begin on a new page in the PDF
Orientation
Override the package orientation for this section only (Portrait, Landscape, or inherit from package)
Layout
For side-by-side sections (Chart + Table, Chart + Text, Table + Text) — choose which element appears on the left
Print Settings
Print settings apply to the whole package and control how the PDF is generated. Access them from the package editor settings panel.

Orientation
Portrait or Landscape — applies to all sections unless a section overrides it
Scale mode
Fit page, Fit width, Actual size, or Custom zoom (25%–200%)
Table of contents
None, On the cover page, or As a separate page
Page numbers
Show or hide page numbers in the PDF footer
Footer text
Optional text printed in the footer of every page (up to 350 characters)
💡 Tip: Use Landscape orientation for wide reports or dashboards with many columns, and Portrait for text-heavy sections. You can mix orientations by overriding on individual sections.
