What this article covers: How to use the Data Loading page in BrizoConsol — reloading trial balance data for specific periods, loading multiple months at once, and importing forecast or budget data via CSV.

The Data Loading page lets you control when trial balance data is refreshed from your connected accounting system, and allows you to import forecast or budget movements. Go to Organisation Settings → Data Loading from the left navigation.

🛈 Connected entities only: Data Loading applies to entities connected via Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or Zoho Books. For manual CSV entities, trial balance data is uploaded directly through the Organisation Hierarchy connection panel.

1. The Period List

The main table lists all loaded periods with their load status and last update time. Each row shows:

Column Description
Period The month and year — e.g. Mar-2026
Load Status When the data for this period was last synced — e.g. 3 minutes ago
Reload Click to re-fetch the trial balance for this specific period from the connected accounting system

Use the Filter periods search bar to quickly find a specific month. Use the pagination controls to navigate if you have more than 10 periods. The total period count is shown in the bottom-right — e.g. 13 Periods.

2. Reloading a Single Period

Click the Reload button on any period row to re-fetch the trial balance data for that month from the connected accounting system. Use this when:

  • You have made changes in your accounting system for a past period and want BrizoConsol to reflect them
  • A sync failed or produced unexpected figures for a specific month
  • You want to force a refresh of the most recent period before running a report

3. Loading Multiple Months

Click Load Multiple Months at the bottom of the page to reload a date range in one action. A date range selector appears with a From and To month dropdown.

Select the From and To monthsChoose the start and end months of the range you want to reload — e.g. Mar-2025 to Mar-2026.

Click LoadBrizoConsol fetches trial balance data for all months in the selected range from the connected accounting system. The Load Status for each period updates once complete.

4. Importing Forecast / Budget Data

Click Import Forecast/Budget at the bottom of the page to upload forecast or budget movements via CSV. This allows you to bring in planned figures that can be compared against actuals in reports and dashboards using the period comparison feature.

💡 Tip: Use Load Multiple Months at the start of each reporting period to ensure all recent data is current before running consolidated reports or creating Insight Packages.
