Publishing an Insight Package creates a frozen snapshot of the package as it appeared at that point in time. Unlike the live package (which always reflects current data), a published version is a permanent record — the figures, charts, and layout are locked and do not change. This makes publications ideal for board packs, audit records, or any situation where you need to preserve what was reported for a specific period.
1. Publishing a Package

Go to Insight Packages → CustomThe Custom page lists all your Insight Packages. Each package card has a Publish button.

Click Publish on the package you want to snapshotA dialog opens asking for a title and reporting month.

Enter a title and select the reporting monthThe title identifies this publication — for example "December 2024 Board Pack" or "Q3 2024 Management Report".

Confirm to publishBrizoConsol generates the PDF snapshot immediately and saves it. You are taken to the published version view.
💡 Tip: Choose a descriptive title that includes the period — this makes it easy to find the right version when you have multiple publications for the same package over time.
2. Viewing a Published Package
Published versions appear in the Insight Packages sidebar alongside live packages. Click a publication to open it. From the publication view you can:

Open the frozen PDF snapshot directly in the browser
Download the PDF
Export the publication as a PDF file to save or share outside BrizoConsol
See publication details
View the title, reporting month, publisher name, and published date
3. Managing Publications
From the Custom page, each Insight Package card shows all its publications. You can manage them as follows:

Toggle visibility
Show or hide a publication in the sidebar — all users with Report Admin access
Delete a publication
Permanently remove a published version — Administrator access required
Reorder sidebar
Drag published versions and live packages into the order shown in the sidebar — from the Manage Sidebar Order option
💡 Note: Deleting a publication is permanent — the frozen PDF and all its data are removed. The source Insight Package is not affected.
