What this article covers: A tour of the BrizoConsol interface — the left navigation bar and the top toolbar — so you know where everything is and what each control does.

1. The Left Navigation Bar

The left navigation bar is your primary way to move between sections of BrizoConsol. It is always visible on the left side of the screen.

Group Selector

At the very top of the navigation bar is the Group Selector. This shows the name of the group or entity you are currently working in, for example Demo Group. Click it to switch between groups or organisations if you have access to more than one.

Navigation Sections

Section What it does
Dashboards Access your financial dashboards — Main, Profitability, Asset, and Debt Management. Click the arrow to expand and switch between dashboards.
Pulse Real-time business health monitoring. Expands to reveal Key Metrics, Cashflow Analysis, Receivables, and Payables.
Reports View and customise your financial reports — P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and more.
Forecast Access forecast data and compare actuals against projected figures.
Budget View and manage budget data for your entities and group.
Insight Packages Create and view scheduled report packages delivered automatically by email.
Adjustments Post journal entries, elimination entries, and manage consolidation adjustments such as CTA and NCI.
Comments View and manage comments left on reports and dashboards across your group.
Organisation Settings Configure settings for the current entity — accounting standards, users, chart of accounts, and data loading.
Global Settings Manage your overall group structure — entity hierarchy, virtual groups, ownerships, account mapping, and exchange rates.

Collapsing the Navigation Bar

Click the collapse arrow at the bottom-left of the navigation bar to hide it and maximise your workspace. Click it again to expand the bar.

2. The Top Toolbar

The top toolbar runs across the top of every screen. It contains context controls and quick-access actions relevant to what you are currently viewing.

3. Tips

Tip: Use the Reporting Period selector in the top toolbar to quickly step through months — all charts and figures on screen update instantly.
Tip: Collapse the left navigation bar when presenting dashboards on screen — it gives you more room to display charts clearly.
Tip: The Entity / Group Selector and the Reporting Period work together. Set both to quickly compare a specific entity in a specific month.
