What this article covers: How to enable and manage Intercompany modules in BrizoConsol — controlling which intercompany transaction types are active for your consolidated group.
The Intercompany Rules page lets you control which intercompany transaction modules are active for your group. Modules that are disabled are hidden from the Intercompany menu across all users in the group. Settings apply to the entire consolidated group.
🛈 Note: Intercompany Rules settings apply to the entire consolidated group — enabling or disabling a module affects all users and all entities within the group.
1. Accessing the Page
Go to Organisation Settings → Intercompany Rules from the left navigation.
2. Available Modules
Eight optional intercompany modules can be toggled on or off. One module — Other Eliminations — is always active and cannot be disabled.
Module
What it covers
Trade Receivables / Payables
Intercompany trade balances — amounts owed between group entities for goods or services. Enables automatic matching and elimination of intercompany trade debtors and creditors.
Inventory Transfers
Goods transferred between entities within the group. Eliminates intra-group inventory movements and unrealised profit on unsold stock.
Unrealised Profit
Profit on intercompany transactions not yet realised from the group perspective — for example, profit on goods still held in inventory by the receiving entity.
Intercompany Loans
Loan balances and related interest between group entities. Enables elimination of intercompany loan receivables, payables, interest income, and interest expense.
Management Charges
Fees charged between group entities for shared services, management fees, or allocated costs.
Dividends
Dividends paid and received between group entities. Enables elimination of intercompany dividend income and the corresponding dividend payable.
Fixed Assets
Fixed asset transfers or sales between group entities. Eliminates intercompany gains, losses, and depreciation adjustments from intra-group asset transfers.
Other Income / Expenses
Miscellaneous intercompany income and expense items that do not fit other categories.
Other Eliminations Always On
A catch-all module for elimination entries that do not belong to a specific category. Always active and cannot be disabled.
3. Enabling and Disabling Modules
Use the toggle switch next to each module name to enable or disable it. When a module is disabled, the corresponding section is hidden from the Intercompany menu for all users. Existing records are retained — disabling a module does not delete data, and re-enabling it restores visibility of all previously entered records.
4. Saving Changes
Click Save Changes to apply your selections. Changes take effect immediately across the group.
